Shipping and Returns
Where we ship from
Every rug is packed and sent from our studio in Gießen, Germany. We roll each piece, wrap it in protective film and ship it in a sturdy outer packaging. Parcels are insured.
Shipping costs
- Germany: free
- European Union: free
- Switzerland, United Kingdom, Norway and other countries: on request. Email us before you order and we send you a quote. Customs duties and import taxes are charged by the destination country and are paid by the customer.
Delivery times
We hand parcels to the carrier within two working days of payment. Typical transit times after that:
- Germany: 1 to 3 working days
- European Union: 3 to 8 working days
- Outside the European Union: 5 to 14 working days, plus customs clearance
You receive a tracking number by email as soon as the parcel is on its way.
Returns
You can return a rug within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Send us an email first so that we can tell you the best way to pack and ship it. Roll the rug the way it arrived, with the pile facing inwards, and use the original packaging if you still have it.
Return shipping is paid by you. Within Germany this usually costs between 15 and 40 euros depending on the size of the rug. We can also arrange the pickup for you and deduct the cost from the refund. Once the rug arrives back with us we refund the full purchase price within 14 days, using the payment method you paid with.
Please protect the rug while it is with you. Normal handling to look at it and lay it out is fine. Stains, damage or wear caused by use beyond that can reduce the refund.

Damaged in transit
If a parcel arrives damaged, photograph the packaging and the rug before you unpack further and email us within three days. We handle the claim with the carrier and send a replacement piece if we have one, or refund you in full.
